The nuts, known as half-moon, lunar or crescent and virtually non-existent on the US market, are indispensable for the rail to post connections. Most other beds and bunk beds use barrel nuts which are usually incompatible with the Brazilian-made furniture. Made of Zamak, a strong Zinc alloy, this hardware is secure and long lasting.
